Remember 2/28

Today is 2/28. A day that holds particular significance to many of our parents and maybe to some of us as well. The date is now known as Peace Memorial Day in Taiwan but this was not always the case.

There was a time when the date was a mere whisper behind closed doors and far from the public. While those days may be in the past, it is still important to remember how far Taiwan has come and to pay tribute to those who have brought us this far. ‪#‎Remember228‬
